Heavenly Company: Entertaining Angels Unaware

Do you believe in angels? Whether your answer is "yes" or "no", you'll find compelling evidence for their existence in this book.

Heavenly Company contains 46 short stories of personal encounters with angels. A man in white visited Cecil Murphey's sickbed and healed his pain and disease. He appeared out of nowhere, unseen by others, and never appeared to Murphey again.  Some story-tellers were stranded in bad weather. Some were in hospitals or experiencing health crises. Others were saved from probably-fatal accidents. Often, but not always, the person in trouble had just whispered a prayer for help.

Compilers of this Guideposts book are Cecil Murphey, author of over 100 books and co-writer for 90 Minutes in Heaven, and Twila Belk, the Gotta Tell Somebody Gal. Foreword is by Don Piper, also of 90 Minutes fame. Short bios of the other writers are included near the end of the book.

The short, often powerful, stories are easy to read either in series or as daily readings. I recommend it for personal reading or gift-giving. If you do believe in angels, you'll enjoy the book. If you don't, you may be convinced.
