Imitation Is....

It’s the sincerest form of flattery, they say. Well, I forgot that there used to be a magazine entitled The Christian Reader. It’s now called Today’s Christian. See the website at http://www.christianitytoday.com/todayschristian/.

Today’s Christian has been called a Christian version of Reader’s Digest. Not really, but it’s a small mag, about the size of Guideposts. I am not a subscriber, but I would be if I could afford all the subscriptions I want.

Grand Opening

I’m a freelance writer specializing in articles and devotions for the Christian and the secular markets. I love to read, and I try to read one fiction and one nonfiction book per month. Besides that, I read print periodicals like Country, Christian Communicator, The Writer, Cross & Quill, Guideposts, and The Union City Daily Messenger.

I’d like to write book reviews, and I plan to practice that on this blog. I’ll also search the Web for online periodicals, and post reviews on them.

Who knows what’s in store for this blog? It will be what it will be. By the end of this month, I hope to have it ready to present to the public and offer subscriptions. Comments are welcomed but are moderated.
