Your Calling as a Christian by Timothy L. Carson

Timothy L. Carson is senior pastor at Broadway Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Columbia, MO. In this small book, he covers many of the questions about the Christian faith that are asked by churched and unchurched alike.

The first chapter is entitled, "Why Should I Care?" Shocked? So was I, but he proceeds to answer that and other questions commonly asked about the faith. He addresses other issues that bother contemporary Christians seeking to know God's will for their lives and their churches. And he closes with the most valuable asset of the Christian faith---hope.


I found it to be an interesting read, but it is also useful for extended study because the author provides Bible verses at the end of each chapter to further understanding of what he's just said.
